ACT NOW!

This could be your last chance to stop uncontrolled cell towers and antennas in LA County!
CAN WE STOP THEM? YES, WE CAN!
On Tuesday, January 10th, the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors will decide whether or not to take away your right to have a voice in the placement of wireless antennas in your neighborhood.
The big telecoms are sick and tired of hearing complaints from local residents about their ugly and dangerous antennas. They want to "streamline" the process for installing antennas in your neighborhood by taking away your right to be heard!
Your public outcry for the December 6th meeting of the LA Board of Supervisors had an impact! What could have been a SLAM DUNK for the wireless companies was stalled, thanks to ALL YOUR COMMENTS. But it's not over.....
Call or email your Supervisor now!

Of particular importance is the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The proposed amendments (Titles 16 & 22) must comply fully with CEQA. We need to ensure that ALL telecom permit applications undergo environmental and historical review, and the LAC Planning Department prepare a comprehensive Environmental Impact Report, on its overall proposed Title 16 and 22 program.

Action Needed: Ask the Supervisors to preserve your right to be heard by voting NO on the proposed amendments to Titles 16 and 22 of the LA County Code. Ask for a reversal of the Categorical Exemptions to CEQA in Titles 16 & 22. Ask that the FiberFirstLA submitted “redline” changes to the Code be adopted that will provide critical safety protections.
